Sibling Battle Trilogy

Sibling Battle : Prime

My first foray into film making, brought on by the discovery of the massive library of Star Wars fan films being made, and the desire to give it a try myself. Very primitive special effects and no dialogue or plot whatsoever.

The 'Prime' subtitle was retrofitted on when I decided to continue the series.

Sibling Battle : Decoy

Shortly after the first movie, I decided to raise the bar and try for something a bit more ambitious, so I jotted down some quick story boards and a very basic script, painted a piece of cardboard blue to use for a blue screen, and went to work.

This movie is probably the most coherent of the three, plot-wise, and I'm quite proud of some of the clone shots as they are pretty convincing at times. (Changes in sunlight levels made a couple of the shots come out a bit dodgy)

Sibling Battle III

The third and final film in the trilogy (unless I do a Lucas) was done a couple of years after the second, and was another step up in complexity. I wrote up a more complicated story with a lot more dialogye, and took a week off from work to get ready and film. I didn't fully complete all the editing and shots until about a year after shooting.

Unfortunately, the storyline was a bit beyond my dialogue writing skills and the kid's acting skills, so it's not always quite clear what's going on, and as this move flashes back to before the original and then forward to after the second film, it can be hard to follow.
