I can't remember now how I came to start singing in a band with friends, but I've been doing it on and off for at least 5 years now, and it's been a blast. Unfortunately, none of the different lineups I've sung in have really produced anything or gotten very far, but it's been fun all the same.
Last year, however, I started a project with two friends, Rob and Jay, which ended up being called Kurodust, and we put together three songs over 6 weeks, recorded them, and released a mini CD to our friends and family, to quite good reception.
We have a website up at www.kurodust.net which has the songs for download, and once Rob gets back from his year in Japan (in September), we will be able to start organising the next Kurodust project.
